@mattdoesfitness: Batman: broken back, still saves Gotham. Frodo Baggins: poisoned, still destroys the ring. Darth Vader: burned alive, still rules the galaxy. Terminator: reduced to a skeleton, still saves the world. Legend: loses an arm, still the best thing about Gladiators. The point is, some of history’s greatest achievements have come in spite of catastrophic loss. Also, I should probably be Prime Minister. Anyway, Gladiators series 3 is over and it’s been a bitter sweet one for me. Tearing my bicep off the bone was far from ideal, but managing to remain heavily involved in the show (and getting to present, referee & commentate) was a big silver lining. As always, massive thanks to Hungry Bear, the BBC & MGM for making the best show on TV, and letting me insult thousands of people every Saturday night in the process. See you in Series 4 😏
