As an American living in NZ I definitely noticed the difference and sometimes the lack of confidence some people have in NZ especially with tall poppy syndrome. It’s wild😩

it’s funny because the US is so large there are very few “universally American” behaviors. But this is by far one of our best. Strangers are friends we haven’t met yet. 🥰

i don’t consider myself confident at all & do these things because it’s just part of our culture and politeness. if you ignore a sneeze near you it’s considered rude. and growing up i was taught if you have a kind thought about someone to say it
