There are givers and there are takers….takers take. Givers give…. Be discerning and tactful with handling disrespect of takers they mistake your kindness for weakness…. At least some do….be kind to others but don’t leave yourself out.

Many years ago I was working with this girl that was rude and dismissive to me. We did secret Santa and guess whose name I pulled. I remembered her mentioning the type of jewelry she liked and I went out of my way to find her that type of earrings. She was so shocked when she opened the gift that I knew what she liked and her treatment of me shifted 180 degrees. It was a great lesson for me.
