This is a question for your dr not the girlies. You’re getting recs on this midwife or that OB it’s ok dependent on you. Your characteristics. There are very severe consequences for a failed VBAC. You can also look up some validated VBAC calculators online, that should give you an idea though. Listen to your medical expert not random people online.

I swear they be saying that to get the experience in. And they get paid more money. They said the same thing with my daughter and I said idc I believe in the Most High. She came out fine. They cut the vaginal part a little bit and that’s it. I was ok with that

c-section with my first…my body wouldn’t dilate. Planning on a schedule c-section with my second hoping every goes smoothly. C-sections were my biggest fear!!

Ugh I’m so sorry babe! I highly recommend my midwife and doula! My midwife is so knowledgeable in all of this and even positions to deliver in cases like this!!

I have a friend who was able to have a VBAC with her second after her emergency c section with her first. She used a midwife! I’ll message her and get their info and send it to you 🤍 you’re so amazing and strong my girl!

I was told after my c section I just had to wait 12 months to get pregnant again in order to have a vbac

Yes normally they reposition when you’re age 29. Makes birth easier. I dont remember everything from my nursing book but i remember readying about that cause I was like oh good one good benefit of waiting.

I was in labor for 36 hours my son was stuck on my hip and only kept me at 6cm I was on pitocin and the epidural wasn’t working, I tried everything I could I ended up in C-section I had my son may of 2025. I am currently 25 weeks pregnant and will be having my daughter in July. I was put out completely for my C-section. I wish I was able to have a vback but my hips are just not able to have a baby come through properly I will be having my second C-section in July. Personally I’m doing it for her safety because also not waiting the 2years after having a C-section can cause risks. I highly suggest listening to your OB if she or he thinks your good to try vaginal go for it! But if they say it’s too risky I 100% wouldn’t even try it just due to baby and your safety.

I had a terrible experience with my C-section. I got pregnant 5 months after my C-section and had a successful VBAC. I think the 2 years is just a recommendation. But I think doing hip exercises. I truthfully don’t believe hips are to close. I think they just think csections are easier and force them on moms

Ok I had a c section in January too!! And literally have had so many side effects as well (infection, ER visits, etc…) and it has been hellllll😵💫 I’m all good now but I never want a c section again hahaha I’m in Utah as well!!

I had a horrible traumatizing emergency c section with my first, with my 2nd I scheduled it and it was pure bliss and heaven and recovery was so much easier and I loved it id do it again! Scheduled is 100% different than emergency

I have a narrow pelvis as well. I tried for a vbac, same thing happened again. I have now had to accept that with narrow pelvis and failure to descend 2x, csections are how I have to have babies. as unfortunate as that is. I waited the 18 months they require between birth and new baby's conception to give me a better shot. did stretching and took birthing classes. still, didn't work.
