For what it’s worth, you’ve already proven yourself to me. Not that I needed you to prove your worth or anything (that’s inherent & equal in all of us), but your humanity, struggles, kindness, thoughtfulness, and so much more are vastly apparent. They’re apparent to anyone who’s paying attention. That said, I’m *well* aware most people are *not* paying attention, listening, or actually seeing who *anyone* is. It’s so fucking hard to contend with. Massive kudos to you for how you’ve grown & learned to love & advocate for yourself despite (and honestly, because of) the foolishness of so many. Every time I see your face on TikTok I stop & pay attention because I know it’s a moment of honesty & humanity that I value & am always eager to be present for. Feeling the way you’ve described in a few of these videos sucks. And, thank you for showing up with more than just anger or defeat or letting awfully shitty behavior control who you’re being. You are a beautiful human carrying some heavy shit, & I’m grateful that you share some of your experience. ❤️

Sounds like you’ve done well with what circumstances you have. I can’t imagine how rough that must be. I get asked some similar questions related to my blindness, but usually when somebody comes across with an inappropriate question, I just let them know it’s inappropriate. Or that’s none of their business. Or maybe turn it around and ask if what you see bothers you you may be need to ask yourself some questions. That sort of thing. Nice to meet you.
