Yall she isnt saying the purse is carry on. She is saying the backpack is her free personal item, if they see the purse and backpack they will count her purse as personal and make her backpack carry on

If you HAVE to have a purse. Just use a backpack that’s big enough to fit the purse, or put an empty purse in your checked bag, if you have one.

You know your back pack counts as a personal item right not a carry on. You can fit it under the seat. I fit bigger backpacks than that under the seat 🤣
