Notice how part of her healing is that she continues to share her story, journey, mindset, and approach to life. So much of the time we expect healing to equal moving on and never mentioning the trauma again, and that if you do it’s some sign that something is wrong with you and you need to stuff it down. Instead she uses her story to educate others, to have authorship over her life, and to articulate openly how it’s impacted her. It’s really powerful and I’ve never been so proud of someone I don’t know.
