Not knowing all case law doesn’t means the case law doesn’t exist. Not saying the officer is right but coming from previous law enforcement experience I didn’t know every piece of case law for every situation. This situation definitely didn’t meet any standard of case law that I have heard or seen before. Hate when some bad or misinformed officers making bad names for the ones that do the right thing.
