I see everyone doing so many things in life already, I feel so behind. They’re starting families, going on trips, getting married, and I’m barely just scrapping by, still living at my parents house… I don’t even have a car, I can’t find a decent job to even be able to afford one… I’m just stuck, I guess

Im 31, autistic and Epileptic. I have no Job. No car and license. No apartment or house. No school. Barely any irl or online friends so no romantic relationships and kids as I'm single. I help my mom take care of my two brothers who are autistic and nonverbal as well as herself at her house since I live with them. Meanwhile, my sister can drive, has a boyfriend, is taking online classes, has two kids and has a house or apartment, and maybe one or two friends. she's 26.

For everyone in the comments: Please do not rush anything. Life is too short to be rushing to the “finish line”. Life is meant to be a journey, an experience. We all forget that just because we see the world moving fast, it doesn’t always mean “catch up”. There is a time for everything and that’s what makes life unique. It’s random, it’s chaotic, it’s fun. No one is behind because if you look at your life and what you did to get here today, that alone should amaze you

How I feel at 27. Not just seeing old friends living life but even your cousins 😭. Sometimes I tell myself that everyone is different and you don’t know what’s going on behind closed doors. I just keep putting myself down a lot 😭😭

I’ve felt this way for a while, I’m 20, and my health gotten worse. I have to use a cane and can barely go outside or I’ll get sick. I want to go to school instead of having to constantly go to doctor to doctor. I wanted to be a kid, and teenager but I couldn’t due to me having to constantly go to the hospital and doctors. I feel like I’m so behind in life and it makes me feel so useless so I push myself everyday yet still feel as though I never do enough.

as someone that is 26 with no friends. all I do i work, going back school, and study a little each day. time feels like a long road but with right head space. everything is fine.

I feel like such a loser compared to my friends and brother, he's about to go to a good college to get a degree to make prosthetics, what am I doing? living with my mom and working at a hardware store, dont get me wrong, I'm grateful that I was even able to get the job in the first place, but It's nothing compared to him, or my friends in engineering colleges, art school, I'm doing nothing with my life and I hate it
