And it’s not just one area, Moscow is expanding vertically everywhere. Between 2025–2027 alone, over 200 high-rise buildings (30+ floors) are planned across the city, showing how fast the skyline is growing. At the same time, the existing Moscow International Business Center (Moscow City) continues to evolve, with new towers, infill projects, and major developments like One Tower (planned ~2030) pushing the skyline even higher. But the biggest long-term shift is the planned “City-2” expansion zone, designed as a second high-rise district next to Moscow City. Construction is expected to ramp up from 2026–2028, with large-scale completion phases stretching into the early 2030s.
