I noticed he was a veteran, but more than anything, I noticed a man who looked like life had been heavy lately. And for a moment…I kept going. Not because I didn’t care. Sometimes stepping outside of our comfort zone is harder than people realize. Approaching a stranger, starting that conversation, not knowing how they’ll respond—it takes faith. But then I remembered what I had prayed for. What if this was the person God put in my path? So I went back. His name was Michael. I didn’t need his entire story. I didn’t need to know every decision that led him to that corner. I didn’t need to decide whether he was “deserving” of kindness. I just asked, “What could make today a little better for you?” He mentioned something to eat and some clean clothes. So I went and got them. But looking back, I don’t think the clothes were the most important part of that moment. We talked. We embraced. And right there, in the middle of an ordinary day, two brothers stopped and prayed together. 🙏 So tonight, I’m asking everyone who reads this to say a special prayer for Brother Michael. May God cover him, strengthen him, provide for him, and remind him that this difficult chapter is not the end of his story. ❤️ And if YOU are going through something right now, that prayer is for you too. Sometimes when life feels silent, God is still working behind the scenes. Sometimes He sends encouragement through the people we least expect. Sometimes He asks us to be that encouragement for somebody else. Today reminded me of where God brought me from too. I know what it feels like to need grace. I know what it feels like when God reaches into your life and begins putting the pieces back together. That’s why I never want to become too comfortable to stop for somebody. You don't need money to make a difference. A prayer. A conversation. A meal. A hug. A kind word. Simply looking someone in the eyes and reminding them, “You still matter.” Someone may be praying for a sign that God hasn’t forgotten them… and God may be putting YOU in their path. 🙏❤️ So the next time your heart tells you to stop, encourage somebody, pray with somebody, or simply show kindness—don’t let fear make the decision. Walk by faith. ❤️ And to everyone who continues to watch, follow, like, comment, and share these moments—thank you.
