I’ve been selling on Vinted for a while, but I’ve never really bought anything myself. I found something I liked for £2.50, which seemed like a great deal - but once the buyer protection fee and postage were added, it came to nearly £10 😅 I didn’t end up buying it. It did make me realise, though, why I was getting lower offers on my own items. From a buyer’s perspective, the total cost adds up quickly, so those offers actually make more sense. Since then, I’ve been a bit more open to accepting them.

It’s an online bootsale pretty much. People will haggle, it’s part of the game but it does get ridiculous like you can have a item up for a pound and youlll get ask will you take 57p 😂😂😂😅

To be fair, I do send offers, but I keep them realistic. If an item is around £90, I’ll usually offer £10–£15 less. But when I see something that’s already a good bargain, I just buy it straight away no point wasting time negotiating because it can be gone in seconds.
