Never understood the notion that Dies Irae has a slow start. I’ve only finished up to Leo route so far but it’s been good basically the whole way through. People think just because there’s some slice of life stuff, that it’s “slow” even though that same slice of life stuff literally builds Ren’s ideals on wanting to keep his day to day life. People just love hating for no reason. W post, goat 🙏

dies irae poses a lot of questions but it doesn’t answer enough of them in enough time so most of the intro is basically just “why is this happening”, i dropped after like 15 hours

When they say "gets good" they're always on about payoffs. I'm almost done with the Kasumi route and I'm loving how many questions it's giving me but slow burns just aren't for everyone

The beginning is very good (the prologue is prolly my fav intro in anything), dies iraes problem is its nature of story telling, the end of every route is peak, but the part right after common route (like ch 7-9/10) is usually very repetitive.
