I’m so glad people love it - I was so pumped for this to bring comedy back to TV after what’s been so dry. Then felt so deflated seeing everyone hating it before it even aired! It’s been incredible - howling laughter every week! Tina & Riz 100% had the best episodes!

i love SNL (US) and so was very excited to see SNL UK (especially with my queen, ania magliano, being in the cast, i loved her on taskmaster), but was worried when i saw so many people complaining about it, saying it wasn't funny, bc oh my god i think its hilarious so far (my current favourite sketch is 45 seconds with george foreacres, especially the fact that nichola coughlan shows up part way through, "it doesn't MATTER nichola coughlan!!" being quoted all the time in my house now, lol). the hosts have been great too, tina fey is iconic, riz amed is so funny and a great actor, jamie dornan is brilliant too, and even jack whitehall this week, he's hilarious. i mean, even the guests, like michael cera, graham norton, the before-mentioned nichola coughlan? iconsss, it was so cool to see them on the show!! i absolutely love it, the sketches are relevant and funny, i just wish it was on a more accessible channel (i don't have sky, i can't get sky) as i think more people would watch it if it was 🤷

2nd episode was the best. 3rd Weekend Update absolutely smacked. Jack Whitehall was also hilarious in week 4.

it's so much better than SNL USA so far, but I guess it's cause we have a specific style of humour. the Ian Wright skit.... honestly haven't seen anything so brilliantly on the tv in a long while

Their political sketches don’t quite hit the mark for me (tbf the American ones don’t either), but most everything else has been funny - the Fouracres Irish skit is still unbeaten to me
