Is it self heating? These won't work in winter or very hot summer.

all of you people in this comment section need to learn some chemistry and this dude needs to be clearer about what he is using. this is not the lithium that is in you phone or in a electric vehicle. this is lithium iron phosphate lip04 this is one of the most stable forms of lithium that does not react to oxygen. the biggest issue here is that he didnt mention what he is going to use as a voltage regular. the alternator is designed for a lead acid or similar charge profile battery. the battery has a built in battery management system to protect the battery but the alternator will kill the cells and bms quickly.

That's because if you live in the great state up north anything past nothing if you're in the US unless you're on the left side past the middle like below Ohio you cannot use those in the winter time because in the summertime or in the springtime it can get so cold that it won't start because there isn't enough heat in the battery to let the chemical reaction happen to make the electricity

lithium also over heats and explodes, if you Crack the plastic case it explodes. its also far more sensitive to the cold, not to mention it likes to EXPLODE.

Lead acid is cheaper and safer vs lithium. At least until they improve the tech

no, thought i had the ultimate setup i built a 6 cell lithium titanate battery "for extreme weather protection" but u cant apply current to any lithium tech when its below zero. it has lasted 3 yrs so far but lost 60% capacity runnin it in the winter so yea i guess itll work in temperate climates but ull regret it if u live up north
