If you saw yesterday's video, you know “military neck” comes from losing your natural curve—this exercise helps restore it with strength and control. 💡 What’s happening? A flattened neck curve makes it harder to move and forces muscles to overwork. You need both mobility and strength to bring that curve back. 🔥 Why this matters It’s not just about stretching — you have to train the muscles to hold the correct position. This movement strengthens both the deep neck flexors and the muscles in the back of the neck. 🛠️ Exercise to restore the curve 1.) Band-assisted tuck + extension Tuck your chin against the band, then look up while raising the band so resistance follows your movement. 2.) Controlled return Let your head come forward, then repeat. Stay controlled and avoid collapsing. 3.) Full range with resistance Work through the full motion — this strengthens the back of the neck while training the front muscles to stabilize.
