My K teacher taught us the asl alphabet and since I was 5/6 yrs old I have wanted to learn more and have held the belief all of us should just use asl in our daily lives.

I took ASL to fulfill my language requirement in college. I ended up taking more than the required hours because I saw the need to know it. I still sign a little today.
