I tried applying to a few counties around northern california, they all required 60 units of college education 😩 is there a list of counties that don't have that requirement? I have about 18 units but its taken me forever while working full time

Private police officer here. I started out at 70k with the hospital, capped out at 94k in 5 years. But essentially, you have endless OT. You can make as much money as you want honestly. My advice. Find a department with low crime and high pay.

The majority of departments in Southern California only require a high school education. As for Beverly Hills Police Department, they start at 105K but require 36 units of college or four years in the military.
