@i.speye: Another day, another find 👁️ Double trouble in one eye 👀 First up: a posterior subcapsular cataract—this type of cataract sits at the back of the lens, right along the visual axis. Because of its location, it can affect vision more than you’d expect, especially in bright light, causing glare, halos, and difficulty with reading or focusing 📖💡 Then there’s asteroid hyalosis ✨—tiny calcium-lipid deposits floating in the vitreous. It gives that sparkly, snow globe appearance inside the eye, and while it looks dramatic, it’s usually harmless and often doesn’t impact vision much at all 🌌 Two very different findings, one eye—one that can quietly affect how you see the world, and another that just adds a bit of unexpected sparkle.
