Maybe it’s just my baby, but he will do way better with a bottle if my MIL feeds him right after a nap when he’s relaxed and not super alert. We also do the side lying position on a breastfeeding pillow!

What bottle are you using? My son was like that too and we tried the tommee tippee bottles and he loved them. Also I had my sister in law feeding him almost every feed for like 3 days to get him to take them.

Try sizing up on the bottle nipples. That could be a sign of bottle refusal

My baby refuses the bottle since she was 4 months old. She has now started to accept milk in a straw and sippy cup instead. Have you tried giving her other cups ?

Is this after nursing? I want to increase my current freezer stash but I am pretty regulated and don’t want to increase my milk supply by a lot but also don’t want to risk my baby going hungry since he exclusively nurses. I need to start pumping again I think in the morning after nursing but don’t know how much I will get.

have you tried boon bottles at all? my daughter refused bottles and those were the only ones she’d take. the nippy is simply to breast and its a collapsible bottle so it sucks in as she sucks like a breast as well.

My baby only takes a bottle when I’m not around if she’s starving lol, and if not we put it in her 360 sippy cup. I also put it in all her food and make smoothies for her.

We used a program bottles on purpose and our baby stopped refusing a bottle and has taken one ever since. It was amazing

My baby refused those bottles you’re pouring into. Switched to the glass Advent bottles and has been doing great. Every baby is different obviously but that’s what worked for us. Good luck mama!

Have you tried increasing the nipple flow again to a fast, considering she only feeds for 5 minutes she’s probably equipped for it.

I ended up leaving my son this weekend and he basically refused the bottle for an entire day. He took some milk via syringe and was force fed a bites of food. He eventually woke up and took it moving forward. It was sad 💔 but they eventually give in 🥺
