@danny.enzo: Brumley Forest Nature Preserve is 600+ acres of beautiful protected piedmont North Carolina forest. I’ve spent a lot of time in these woods, both mountain biking and hiking. There is a rich, and sometimes complicated, history here, and it’s often visible in the form of abandoned structures, gravestones, artifacts, and geographic features. One of the darkest parts of this lands history was the Cameron Plantation…and I encourage anyone who has not been to the historic Stagville site to make a trip there with an open mind and learn.
