Have some of your friends and family submit with the different items to increase your chance of getting at least one or two items looked at!

I have been an antique collector/dealer since 1977. Bring the sculptures, everything else is too common. You need to get tickets and that is not easy. Have several of your friends try to get tickets to elevate your chances.

Probably not the trains. They’re not that old and pretty common

Contact the Antiques Roadshow and they might want to do a special just about your house, including the house and the journey.

The Inuit statues. From the clips and episodes I’ve seen, some of those Native American pieces can be special.

Hire a stamp collector to research it for you. Probably worth it. If “worthless,” why not make a gradient art piece/s with the stamps? You could commission an artist to make pictures, Like a face, a rainbow or maybe a sunset, 🌅 out of the stamps. You could split the art with family.

Find local coin dealer NOT pawn shop for the $20 gold coin. Probably not rare but worth $5k at least if it’s real. Once you know what it is, call other dealers and gold/silver shops in your area for best price.

Stamps: not roadshow. Find local honest stamp dealer. Probably won’t get much though - the stamp collector market collapsed and hasn’t recovered. Still there could be some gems. Maybe find somebody knowledgeable you trust to look through it first, to check if there are any obvious valuables before taking to a dealer.

My husband was almost picked for the show and it was a very old inscribed whale's tooth with very interesting story images. It was from the 1800's I think.

The print block is not likely to be worth enough to land you an Antiques Roadshow spot. If you have a letterpress shop in town they can print a proof of it for you to get a clear image though. These were often wrapped in paper for protection and that type of block was often mass produced and sold to newspapers so they would have a way to print a “photo” of government officials and other noteworthy folks.

It's worth what someone is willing to pay for it. But also you need to verify what things SOLD for and not what they're listed for.

I agree definitely bring the sculptures. I recently went to a shop in Canada with Inuit sculptures and they were very expensive, some in the thousands. Not to mention, trying to find an expert in this area is probably much harder than the other items.
