@daniellenicole1994: One year ago this week, we decided to give Elijah a ng tube to make him stronger and gain more weight. I had to learn how to use the pump at home, learn how to put medicine through it, and learn how much formula and calories he needed a day. I still feel terrible that after a 10 hour surgery with a kidney and tumor removal, our solution was to shove a tube up his nose while he was trying to heal. The ng tube only lasted a few days before we went to do TPN. But we got these phone calls this week that you hear in the video. I let the numbers go to voicemail and when i seen the message, it really sucked to have to call them and explain to them when they asked if be still uses it, that he passed away almost 9 months ago. So on top of a hard week because i remember how a year ago Elijah went through all of this, i had to also tell a company “he passed away almost 9 months ago, so you can come get the equipment”.
