So in my class is students are talking during my lesson I tell them “oh so everyone understands this lesson? No problem, I have tomorrow’s work already printed out and ready to go. We can start early! So exciting” and suddenly they shush, I give them about 2 warnings and on the 3rd I literally hand them tomorrow’s work (I print out the whole week’s worth of lessons). You do it once and those kids will never talk or disrupt your class again
