That’s broken off are tractor a few times I’ve just welded a pipe inside and slid that pipe over top of it and welded it all solid

service manager for case ih here, that cat has honey comb baffles and ceramic plates in it, it's not just a muffler it's part of the def/scr/egr system and yep that's how much they run.

1500€ for the muffler that is so heavy that it breaks the part under wich costs 1200€… just put a 100mm stainless steel pipe for 100€

I’d buy a mig or tig welder, maybe a plasma cutter, some pipe and get to manufacturing my own. We really have to get back to being resourceful.
