@irenekennedyofficial: I’ve interviewed 100s of people. Interview outcomes are predictable. If you can’t answer these 5 questions clearly you’re not ready. They come up in almost every process.SAVE this for later. 1. Tell me about yourself Your talk track. → what you do. → who you do it for. → the outcomes you deliver. No life story. No rambling. 2. Why this role and this company? This is where most people lose it. They’re vague. They say “growth” or “great brand”. What they actually want: → you understand their business. → you understand this role specifically → you’ve made a considered decision. This should feel tailored, not generic. 3. Behavioural question (Tell me about a time…) You will get these. Every time. Examples: → conflict. → failure. → influencing stakeholders. → leading under pressure If you don’t have clear, structured stories ready, you’re winging it. Simple structure: → situation → action → result 4. Key achievement Your proof. → what was the problem. → what did you own. → what changed because of you. Numbers matter. Specifics matter. 5. Why should we hire you? This is where you pull it all together. → their problem. → your experience. → the value you bring. Make it easy for them to say yes. You don’t need 100 answers.
