My high school did this back in the early 2010’s. My mom would come and bring a few extra sandwiches for my friends that she knew weren’t gonna have their parents with them 💕

The elementary school I went to when I was little, i think around 2010 somewhere around there, allowed our parents or family members to eat with their kid any day of the week, im surprised they only recently started doing that
