I had a similar story with an intramuscular hemangioma in my leg- no MRI til I was 20, pain from age 5. Blood vessel tumor that got removed, nobody believed me.

Wow!! This is wild. Not the exactly the same but I grow glomus tumors in my thumbs under my nails. Teeny tiny tumors that hurt like hell and it took me five years to find a doctor who knew what it was. They are extremely rare.
