I was on a jury and we were told to disregard a statement. I was the foreman and one of the jurors was claiming. guilty based on only one thing and it was the thing we were told to disregard and I had to keep reminding them you need to say not guilty if thats your only reason because thats not in evidence. he ended up getting not guilty.

Honestly, legal teams usually know that and are betting on the fact sometimes that you do remember. A lot of times they know what is said is gonna get thrown out, but at least it’s out there.
