Just back from Japan and saw lost items all around waiting for their owners to reclaim them. Such a great aspect of Japan's culture.

We left my daughter’s insta max Polaroid camera and lanyard with her Suica card on a bench in a park by the Ghibli museum. We went back 30 minutes later and of course it was all still there.

When I had a terrible fever, I had to stop by the atm in a train store to withdraw some cash and completely forgot to take the card back and walked away. The screen was still open to my bank account. The person in line ran after me, I was already down the street and handed me back my card.
