I think Plutarch is the only one in Panem who knows the whole story objectively as he quite literally manufactured all of it - both from the capitol’s side and the rebel side. He is the missing piece that answers our questions about everything. I need a book on him so badly!

Outside of Plutarch, I hadn’t considered Coin— but that’s worth considering!! I pondered the possibility of Tigris as well. I’m wondering if the possible connection between her & Katniss would be the perspective we need to see the “how we landed here”. (Name connection, *possibly*, would be the arrow meaning in their lore/myth/etymology/plant connections…) 🤔

I remember reading the end of mocking yay and feeling lonely and alone. Like yeah katniss and peeta end up together and have kids, but them getting back to district 12 and living there felt so isolated. Like what about the world?

Mockingjay destroyed me in such a good way. I remember finishing it while camping and needing to leave the beach and walk and I was talking outload discussing with myself what I just read. I read it in like 2-3 days. I couldn’t stop. Such a great series

THIS IS WHAT IVE BEEN SAYING THE BOOK IS GONNA BE ABOUT !!!! also don’t hate me please but i really think there is a chance snows father Crassus survived and lived in thirteen. I think that’s why he “died” in the woods outside twelve and also why we got the detail in this image. Also I think it makes sense based on their “name poems” because “Lament for Crassus” is a famous poem about Crassus who at one point hides away in a cave. Here’s just the first two stanzas of that poem: “Who grows old in fifty pages of Plutarch: mores, omens, campaigns, Marius at sixty, fighting fit, working out on the Campus Martius? It surely isn’t me, pushing thirty, taking a life a night, my head on a bookshelf, five shelves of books overhead, the bed either a classic or remaindered?”
