One of the biggest lessons I've learned on my fitness & GL🫛 journey is that there isn't one
One of the biggest lessons I've learned on my fitness & GL🫛 journey is that there isn't one "perfect" workout plan... there's only the one you'll actually stick with. 💪 Finding a training block that fits YOUR body, your schedule, and your recovery has made all the difference for me. Consistency will always beat perfection. For me, that looks like a simple 6-day training split:✨ Pull✨ Push✨ Legs & Glutes✨ Pull✨ Push✨ Legs & Glutes😌 Rest Day Having a structured plan means I know exactly what I'm training each day, I can track my progress, and I make sure every muscle group gets enough attention while still allowing time to recover. It keeps me motivated because I can actually see myself getting stronger week after week. Here's a quick look at a few of my favorite upper-body exercises and the muscles they target: Exercise— Main Muscles Worked Cable Seated Rows— Lats, rhomboids, traps, rear delts, biceps Pec Fly Machine— Chest (pectorals), front shoulders Lat Pulldown (Rope)— Lats, rear delts, upper back, biceps Lat Pulldown (Bar—) Lats, teres major, rhomboids, biceps Upright Exercise Bike— Quads, hamstrings, glutes, calves, cardiovascular endurance One thing I've become really passionate about is lifting as heavy as I safely can with good form. As women over 40, we naturally begin losing muscle mass and bone density if we don't challenge our bodies. Strength training helps preserve lean muscle, supports our metabolism, protects our bones, improves balance, and makes everyday life easier. Progressive overload—gradually increasing the weight, reps, or intensity—is where the magic happens. You don't have to lift what someone else is lifting... just aim to be a little stronger than you were last month. Those small improvements add up in a big way. I'd love to know... what's your favorite workout day or training split? Are you a pull day person, do you love leg day, or are you all about a full-body workout? Tell me why—I always love hearing what keeps you motivated! ❤️ 🏋‍♀️Wearing- gym reapers — shorts Shein — top Running Girl — sports bra Shop my amazon storefront! @Gymreapers @SHEIN US @runninggirl_usa
