I am from Mexico and i checked the weather forecast on my city (I live in the semi desert) and it’s only 1 degree difference between my city and Indio, and I was like, it is really cold for those people?? I mean it’s chill for my at night, I was like super worried about what jacket to use or if I will freeze out at night

Strong winds suck in the desert. I grew up in an area near Coachella surrounded by desert. The wind brings dust. The amount of time I ran from the dust because it felt like I was getting knifed by a million murderous dust sprites and then had to wash all of that out of my hair and out of my eyes sucked so much. I live in the east coast now and the weather here is on the other side of the spectrum. I’d still prefer east coast weather over the winds in the desert and heat though. The winds you’re talking about don’t sound that bad though but I did see some peoples camps got destroyed from the winds This is the time of year that’s the windiest out there too.

Growing up in the Midwest and now living on east coast, I see these west coast folk saying omg it’s so cold! And I literally pulled up the weather app to see at the coldest point of the day was 66 degrees for them and was like get the fk out of here 😂 that’s summer weather to me
