How do I remove smeared silicone that was left in my porcelain cast iron sink’s lip? Its that thin layer left behind when they try to clean it after application in the under mount. I have tried everything and even scraping with a putty plastic spatula. Can’t get rid of that haze/smear.

Can you do this around windows? There was previously a mold problem which has since been cleaned up but the old stuff is still so dirty in places i think itd be better to just scrape it out and restart, but ive always been slightly worried it would mess with the seal of the window or something stupid 😅🫣
