How do you wash our bowls and jars after making sourdough? I’m scared of putting it down the drains etc 😭

I use my discard for a pizza base. Easiest thing. I line an oven pan, drizzle some oil and the put the discard in and spread evenly. Some Italian herbs and then bake for about 10 minutes until stiff. Spread tomato puree and toppings, bake for about 20 minutes and voila, easy pizza

I do one sourdough a week and make sure to have 200-400g of discard ish so that in the weekend I can make 1-2 cheat loafs with the discard so easy and keeps my family from buying any bread win 😄

Have a starter - feed daily (1:2:2). Discard gathers, use it for crackers mostly. So, if I want to make 2 loaves of bread and my starter is like at 12g, how do I get it to 200g?

Thank goodness for discard. I ran out of active starter and had to dig in my discard jar to revive some

Why is my discard always thicker than yours? It looks more like a batter thickness
