@kasunkaji: The Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Rashidi Ladoja, on Friday, declared that financial influence and monetary inducement would no longer determine entry into the Olubadan chieftaincy line. He made this known during the conferment of the title of Jagun Olubadan on Mogaji Fajinmi, Oladiran Alabi, held at Olubadan Palace in Ibadan North Local Government Area of the state. The monarch said the decision was part of new reforms aimed at preserving the integrity of the traditional institution and ensuring that only credible individuals ascend the revered ladder. "The offer of hundreds of millions of naira or influence-peddling by eligible applicants will no longer determine entry into the Olubadan line. It is the new standard we have set, not for our own personal benefits but for generations yet unborn!"
