If travel is important to you, you can save up the money and who knows where you'll go! Post high school (paying for most of my own trips) I have been to Oregon, Arizona, Disney world 3 times, Disneyland, and Louisiana! Seriously just save up the money and it's always a joy to have something to look forward to!
