@deadhost.exe: On June 18, 2023, the experimental submersible Titan began its descent toward the Titanic wreck with five passengers on board. The group included 61 year old OceanGate CEO Stockton Rush and 77 year old French explorer Paul Henri Nargeolet. One hour and forty five minutes into the dive communication with the surface vessel Polar Prince was lost forever. Debris was later discovered on the sea floor 1600 feet from the bow of the Titanic confirming a catastrophic implosion of the carbon fiber hull. Marine Board hearings in late 2024 revealed that the vessel had suffered previous structural damage and loud cracking sounds on prior missions. The most chilling evidence revealed was the final text sent from the sub which simply stated all good here.  This is a solved tragedy caused by engineering failure and a blatant disregard for deep sea safety standards. The victims were killed in less than a millisecond before their brains could even register the event. As of 2026 the wreckage serves as a somber reminder of the lethal pressure of the North Atlantic.
