It's a Range Rover if there isn't oil under it, there isn't oil in it.

When I worked in auto finance, I processed condition reports for repossessed vehicles that were being prepared for resale at auction. The Range Rovers were in the worst condition, every single time. Didn't matter how new it was, every Range Rover I had to price to resell had multiple problems. Every single one.

Sincere question: with the changes being proposed to fuel, are fuel tank additives actually worth using?

I've got a 40 year old Yanmar 2GM20F diesel that hasn't been run in 20 years. It's got 20 year old diesel fuel, 20 year old engine oil, and 20 year old coolant sitting in it. I've changed the water impeller, belts, fuel filter, oil filter, air filter, and thermostat. I've hand-pumped the oil out of the reservoir, and refilled. On visual inspection, the hoses look and feel adequate. Any thoughts or suggestions on anything more I should do before I hook up a new battery and try to start it?

They literally have stop leak that kinda works a little temporarily so you can take it to the mechanic or just use thicker oil

Good thing is Elmer's glue is water soluble... bad news is oil is not water. It didn't desolve.

Just gotta topoff oil as needed and keep doing oil/filter changes per recommended schedule. Otherwise, only the spark plug well gaskets truly need replacing.

Upgrade the radiator and intercooler, add an engine oil cooler or upgrade if they come with one, aftermarket sump/oil pan to increase capacity, aftermarket hood, front end, and belly pan to increase airflow as much as you can. Might keep it running cool enough if you did all that. 😅😂

For those Range Rovers, I see a decent people get oil coolers specifically to keep it from running too hot
