People saying that “all demons bad = bad writing” are the worst part of this fandom. Even Tolkien created orcs as the pure evil monsters made simply for war but that doesn’t mean they’re poorly written. If you want some sad backstory of a demon then go watch Demon Slayer. Frieren in next season will focus on two best written characters in new gen manga and one of them is a demon. Also having demons written this way in manga/anime is truly refreshing
