I remember receiving a little bit of affection from my grandma when I was around 3-4 years old, but after that, she became colder and more distant. I’ve lived with her my whole life (19 years) and we never talk to each other. I know she talks badly about my parents, and I believe she does the same about me, my siblings and even about her own children. To be honest, I lost hope a long time ago that we could ever have a close relationship, and seeing your photos with all of your grandparents in the comments makes me feel both happy and a little heartbroken at the same time, because it makes me think of my own grandmother. I truly hope you can cherish those moments forever with your 🩷
