It is a rare condition in infants where acid reflux (GERD) causes unusual movements like arching the back, stiffening, or twisting the neck/head often during or after feedings. Is he on a bottle? Or does he nurse? If hes on a bottle. Stir the formula, do not shake. This literally helped us with my oldest. That with the second two, I stirred 😂

If you’re exclusively breastfeeding, you should add a couple of tablespoons of apple cider vinegar to a cup of hot water with honey , and drink it every day. Acid reflux and gerd is cause by not having enough acid in your stomach. Pepcid is an “antacid” .. you’re not trying to take acid away.

i have basically tried everything to help our son for his reflux and so far nothing has really worked 😭 his doctor recommended oatmeal cereal in his formula to make it thicker since no special formula helped him and it keeps him from spitting up more than he use to plus taking pepcid as well. hoping once he hits 6 months it will improve 🥲

Awww he’s so cute. I know babies should sit up for a while after feeding however, I put my baby in his rocker. I just feel like he’s a little less uncomfortable at a slight layback.
