Throw away the test kit. I bought one last year and didn’t even use it. Honestly you really need the chlorine tablets and shock. I put two bags of shock a week in mine and keep my chlorine floater filled up. My pump runs 18hrs a day and I skim it everyday. It can be overwhelming at first.

Just get two of those floating things that hold tablets and get arm and hammer tablets for the pool and the chlorine tablets , shocket every week your good to go. That’s all I use for my above ground pool. And you can order everything off Amazon too.
