@natalie_oneillll: These posts are always controversial but I truly don’t intend them to be. I create these posts to educate so that you get better results in the long run. I absolutely believe these Medicube zero pore pads can give you results - I’m not arguing that. But they go against what I personally care about, which is giving skincare advice that helps you achieve *significant* results over time: bouncy, clear skin. In my experience, daily fragranced product products might work in the short term, but they work against you in the long-term health of your skin. My results have come from ruling our irritants, preserving barrier health, cleansing thoroughly without stripping the skin, and freeing up your skin barrier to be able to tolerate highly effective active like retinoids and azelaic acid (full posts about these on my profile). Fundamentally, I truly just think you can do better when it comes to exfoliating - there is just no need to be rubbing 8 fragrances into your skin while it is already vulnerable. Hopefully these alternatives are helpful to save you money, barrier health and developing perioral dermatitis in the long term. #medicube #skincare #koreanskincare #tonerpads

Personally really like the no7 good intent pads. I’ve been using them for a couple of weeks a few times a week and it doesn’t feel harsh but still exfoliates and gives that fresh and glowy look after x

Boots exfoliating pore pads (not the salicylic ones mentioned here) are the exact same ingredients as No7 and nearly half the price!

I brought the medicube ones and didn’t realise you’re not meant to actually use them every day cause of the acids in them even though I saw a lot of videos of people saying they do, it damaged my skin barrier so bad, and gave me a reaction very similar to contact dermatitis 😭😭 I haven’t been brave enough to try them again since. 💕💕

I love some of the meducube stuff, love the toner pads , I’ve got all of them , and the blue spicules I love them as well, the only thing I don’t like is the collagen jelly , just too sticky on my face.

I have found the zero pore pads useful for a reason they aren’t marketed for - those of us with dry skin who get flaky around our nose and mouth need something to quickly exfoliate all the ….uh, flakes, before we put on makeup. These work very well for that!
