@tormentedbythepast: I don’t really know what to say here, whether to speak about how relating Rue is in certain aspects, or how much a father can truly impact you, or maybe even the art of truly missing someone down to your core, I think it all pinpoints to one thing, grief. Losing someone special, or grieving the future that could’ve been or plagued by the memories of the past, it all adds up to grief being a process of adjustment where your brain and body tries to make sense of a reality you rather have no involvement with, because after all it’s not me accepting it, it’s me being forced to deal with it. Forced to deal with the fact that life moves on, milestones getting accomplished, anniversaries being celebrated, my body developing while theirs decomposes. Society will pressure grieving people to reach a stage of acceptance, not knowing that’s the last thing you want, because will it minimize the intensity of everything I had to go through? Will I have to let go of this bond I’ve tried to keep even beyond death? My refusal to let go does not stem from pride, but rather that it’s deeply lonely, a burden too heavy to carry and impossible to unload, which once again, forces me to carry it everywhere #foryou #foryoupage #xyzabc #grief #euphoria
