I strongly disagree. Ignoring the bad is called dissociation and it is cruel to tell someone experiencing something bad or painful to "focus on the good". We must be able to do both and strike a balance between spiralling into the negative and insisting on only being happy. The latter is delusional and unrealistic, the former is self destructive. The answer is to stay grounded in reality and find the middle ground. Suppressing what makes you uncomfortable is not healthy. Sometimes you have to do the hard things and earn the good, sometimes you have to walk towards the good away from the bad. If you can't do both, something will force you to. That's life.

I always say that we live in heaven, look at the blue sky, look at the grass, plants, flowers, trees, look at the beautiful animals, they're all different and they all live together in a harmony of life, people live in heaven and they make a mess here and they hope to go to another heaven... what for to make another mess? it doesn't work like that and they don't understand, I'm happy to see more and more awake souls like you, I'm happy to not be alone. There’s truth in the idea that constant negativity can affect our mindset. But “focus only on the good” can also become unhealthy if it means ignoring reality, suppressing emotions, or staying silent about real problems.
Complaining is not always “low energy.” Sometimes it’s honesty. Sometimes it’s how people process pain, injustice, burnout, grief, or frustration before finding solutions.
The issue is not acknowledging problems — it’s getting trapped in endless rumination without reflection or action.
A healthier approach is probably:
“Notice the good, confront the bad honestly, and don’t let either consume you.”
