🍞 Nutella Chocolate Chip Brioche Bombs Ingredients: * 1 1/2 tbsp sugar (~18 g) * 1/2 cup lukewarm milk (130 ml) * 2 1/4 tsp active yeast (7 g) * 2 eggs * 2 1/2 cups flour (~320 g, add more if sticky) * 1 pinch of salt * 2 1/2 tbsp of sugar 30 g * 1 tsp vanilla extract (~5 g) * 4 tbsp unsalted butter at room temperature (~56 g) * 1/2 cup cup chocolate chips ( 85 g) * Nutella (about 1 tbsp for each bun) * 1 egg + 1 tbsp milk (for egg wash) * A little melted butter (to brush once ready) ⸻ 📝 instructions : In a bowl, combine the lukewarm milk with the sugar and the yeast, stirring until the yeast is dissolved, about 8 minutes. Add the two eggs and vanilla extract, then incorporate the flour sugar and a pinch of salt. Knead until a dough forms. Finally, add the butter and knead until the dough is smooth. Place the dough in a separate bowl, cover it, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour, or until it has doubled in size. Deflate the dough, then fold in the chocolate chips. Once the chips are well incorporated, divide the dough into 6 balls. Flatten each ball and place about 1 tablespoon of Nutella in the center. Fold the dough over to enclose the Nutella, then shape into small buns. Place the buns on a baking sheet and cover them to rise again for about 20 minutes or until doubled in size .
