I haven’t seen anyone else talk about The Black Hunger. It’s literally one of my favorites! The writing is so well done and it drew me in quick. I love the backstory and the character design!

the hunger we pass down was kind of a let down :/ the first, like, 80% of the book is excellent, then the end feels completely disjointed from the rest of the book & the entire storyline leading up to it. super unsatisfying and a struggle to get through. i read the first 80% in a few days, then it took at least 3 months for me to finish the last 20%, if that says anything.
