She did nothing to disrespect you guys’s culture. She put on an outfit in trolled you guys that’s it that’s all she did. Didn’t say anything about you guys. She didn’t say anything about the way that she’s stressed. She didn’t say anything. She knows you guys are gonna call her outfit ugly that’s why she did it.

Feathers have been used in clothing and adornment by many different cultures across the world: Indian, African, European, and even Asian. For any person to individually decide it is “their” culture, it would be without clear awareness of the history of fashion. Feathers were worn widely during the “hippie” revolution. And instead of appropriation, people need to realize that fashion is also a way of appreciating cultures. There is nothing done in a mocking nature in her dress. She is not wearing a Native American warbonnet or a clearly identifiable tribal headdress. Netting itself is not tied to just one culture; it appears in many places and time periods, from ancient Egypt to Mughal India to 19th‑century European fashion and modern global streetwear. And finally, a yellow dresses as fashion items are common globally and are not restricted or sacred garments.
