I’m really enjoying this series and I have a question- how thought out are these voice choices? Were these intentional by whoever picks voice actors or just a “vibe” that someone feels based on era? You’ve talked about the changes through the years and I wonder how intentional it is.

(CW: personal opinion) I really wish Disney would go back to hiring classical and broadway singers to sub in for the songs when the voice actor isn’t a strong singer. Like, I love Mandy Moore’s acting in this movie but the singing took me out of it, particularly with the breathy high notes. The character disappears and it’s a Mandy Moore pop song instead of a song that lives inside the story. Okay I’m ready for my lashings lol
